Hot Dogs

Tonight was hot dogs (and polish sausages for the adults). Dad cooked the hot dogs which was greatly appreciated. We also had baked beans (from a can), raw baby carrots, and pineapple.

dad-3 polish sausages, baked beans, carrots with ranch, and pineapple
daughter7-hot dog, carrots, and pineapple
son5-2 hot dogs, carrots with ranch, and pineapple
son3-2 bites of hot dog, carrots with ranch (ate six more after the five I gave him originally), baked beans, and pineapple
mom-1 polish sausage, carrots, baked beans, and pineapple

Note to myself: son3 is not a big hot dog eater. The last two times we ate them he only took a couple of bites. Also son3 decided playing was better than eating at lunch time so he only had a small snack in the afternoon which would explain all the carrots he ate (not that I'm complaining about him eating carrots).

Hot Dogs

Tonight was a simple night. We had Hot Dogs. The children like theirs microwaved. I like mine fried on the stove. So I did both. Actually dad and I ate Polish Sausages and the kids had hot dogs; also a matter of preference. Veggie=raw baby carrots. Fruit=banana.

dad-3 polish sausages with catsup, mustard, & onions on buns; 8 carrots with ranch, half a banana
daughter7-1 hot dog, 5 carrots with ranch, half a banana
son5-1 hot dog with catsup, 5 carrots with ranch, apple sauce (didn't want a banana)
son3-a few bites of hot dog, 5 carrots with ranch, half banana
mom-1 polish sausage with catsup, mustard, & onion, 8 carrots, half a banana

Everyone liked it and was super simple to do, which I liked. Had a few kids try to leave the table before finishing their fruit or vegetable, but they came back to eat them. I guess that is what consistence gets you.
